Myers Family | Louisville KY Family Photographer

Sweet and silly and sassy and snuggly – sisters. This session was pure joy to capture. Lots of dancing and hanging out with each other. How many years do we get these moments with our kids before they’re “too big” to be so close? (I’m not crying. You’re crying.) Photographs are So. Important. Be in them. <3

Atherton Family | Louisville KY Family Photographer

A little mini session at Wethington Tree Farm last year with the Atherton crew. Barefoot babies in the tall grass, a Sakura Bloom ring sling and some mini Christmas trees… perfection. I adore this little family!!

Zoller Family | Louisville KY Family Photographer

Before we moved from Charlotte to Louisville, we were lucky enough to share a fence with the Zollers. It was SO GOOD to hug their necks on my last trip to the Carolinas, and to see that their family had grown by two handsome little boys! During an otherwise super cloudy and overcast day of sessions, the sun poured itself from the clouds for a few short minutes and we soaked it up.

Hsieh Anniversary | Louisville KY Family Photographer

When I tell you they’re the sweetest couple, they’re the sweetest. freaking. couple. For reals. While they bide time together in Kentucky, I know their hearts are back at home in California. Any season in life is worth capturing, and now they’ll always have a memento of their five year wedding anniversary. Add kids or not, home or apartment, tied down or traveling, they’ll always have a reminder of who they are today. Footloose and fancy free, bicoastal Disneyland wanderers.

Thank you, Hannah and Nelson, for letting your hair and your guard down, and for doing this sweet Kentucky anniversary session.

Hammons Family | Louisville KY Family Photographer

We met the Hammons family at the pool two summers ago when we were both pregnant with our third babies. And, get this, we both have a boy middle child… named Tucker. Not a super common name. We were meant to be buds from the beginning. I absolutely ADORE this family. So warm and welcoming and just real.

Everyone hopped out of the car, tossing jackets and ripping tags out of new tiny clothing, and we never stopped moving. I couldn’t love these images more. Throwing leaves, throwing babies (carefully), dance parties, smiles, kisses, snuggles… I know it can be work prepping for a family session, but it’s so worth it at the end.
