Who makes cute kids? THESE. TWO. HUMANS. I want to just eat them up. Not only are they adorable, but they’re oozing personality and charm. Whitney said she wasn’t sure how Jane squeezed her squishy toddler toes into last years’ shoes, but Jane was so set on wearing them and she did so with a big ol Jane smile. You guys, I have been having SO much fun working in the studio. It’s only been a few months, but it feels like home. I’ve worked with this little cutie twice now. Little V just doesn’t remember me from before because she was still all tight and cozy in Stephanie’s little belly. Now she’s almost ONE! I’m just loving everything about this girly session and the contrast of the urban setting and dad’s tattoos. Love, just LOVE! xo

While I have spent a significant amount of time photographing outdoors in a perfect field with perfect sunlight with everything totally natural and unposed, there always comes a time for change and for challenge. This challenge presented itself with full hair and makeup, floral crowns, vintage gowns, Tutu Du Monde, and an angry/cold/wet/dreary sky. I think changing up my predictable and perfect conditions for these made way for me to stretch myself and create some beautiful images.
