I’ve known the Smith family for about two years now. Katie and I pass in the hall daily as we do the preschool shuffle – often with coffee and clingy toddlers. Brooken is one lucky and way out numbered man with all these beautiful ladies running around the house! I shot my little heart out on this session. Hope you enjoy!!

We are already missing this sweet military family! Maeve has been in preschool with us for about two years now. Her family moved this week. High on their Kentucky bucket list before eventually landing in Okinawa was having family pictures made. They wanted some images to remind them of their days in Kentucky.
On our scheduled day it rained buckets, but promised to clear. The clouds parted for maybe an hour. It was raining again before I made it back home. It was totally meant to be. Miss you, Cutters! 🙂
These two. Swoon. Ladies and gentlemen, Kendall and Gunner. So sweet and snuggly and welcoming… and hugs. Always giving big hugs. We tried for this shoot earlier in the summer, but we were rained out. Sometimes things are worth rescheduling 🙂

I had an idea for this session with a vibrant teepee and bows and arrows. I wanted the children to come out and play and explore – not for them to think they had to sit for a photo shoot. Emily and her stylish little family was game for my plan, and everything came together perfectly! We got all of these great shots (and many more) in less than 20 minutes. The boys had fun with their books, instruments and the bows that I brought. Enjoy! xo
